Hi All – as we reach the end of February we will be checking the Vineyard this Saturday following big ‘ole Doris blowing through Derbyshire on Thursday and we’ll be continuing the pruning work of the vines which should be reaching completion soon. We’ll bring you an update should anything be amiss and any further news from the Vineyard on the condition of the vines for this year’s growing season.

Then to finish the month we’re opening a Pop-Up Wine Shop at our registered company address this Sunday 26th February you’ll be able to taste our wine for FREE and purchase any bottles you would like at a discounted rate :

1 – 5 Bottles = £11 per bottle
6 – 11 Bottles = £10 per bottle
12+ Bottles = £9.50 per bottle

So why come along if you fancy trying & buying something local – we’ll be open from 12noon till 4pm at 19 Portland Street, ETWALL, DE65 6JF.

Coming up in March the wine will be finished off and start settling ready for bottling in April – this year the 2016 will not be released immediately as with previous years, something to look forward to.  We will also be attending the Derby Grammer School Food Fayre in the school hall Saturday 28th March 10am – 3pm – some & see us for our first event of 2017.

Further date that has been confirmed is the Belper Food Festival – this will be taking place on Sunday 9th July 10am – 4pm.  We’ll be there as usual hopefully in our normal spot in the Memorial Gardens with our Wine Bar, always a good event – thought the weather last year wasn’t as kind as it has been in previous years.

We may be making a few appearances at local Farmers Markets in the near future to – still to be confirmed and we’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime stay out of Doris’ way and we hope to you see you soon at an event.

Cheers
Duncan & Barry
